The aim of the project is to develop a technology for manufacturing components that enable the loading, transport, and assembly of offshore wind towers using methods that determine changes in the welded material.

Planned results: the results of the research boil down to the development of component designs using methods that enable assembly and welding processes to minimize any deformation at every stage of processing or production. The direct application of the research results will have an impact on the strength of structures in harsh weather conditions and when joining components of different grades and types of steel.

The aim of the project is to develop a new type of winches: mooring, anchoring, and mooring-anchoring winches for the maritime sector.

Planned results: thanks to the development of new components, the devices will feature: longer service life compared to the current generation; improved operating conditions; lighter and smaller design; increased performance parameters, e.g., pulling force; versatility - application on both universal and specialized units; versatility in drive selection.

Research and development work on strengthening the surface strength of shafts in power transmission systems

Project co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program for the West Pomeranian Province for 2014-2020

The aim of the project is to develop a method / process of mechanical processing so that cutting and work hardening take place simultaneously in order to produce a shaft from a lower grade of steel with quality parameters comparable to those of harder steels.

Planned results: a method will be developed whereby, during the mechanical processing, it will be possible to quickly produce a part with a diameter exceeding 1200 mm and a length of 8000 mm with high technical parameters.
